The World aint all sunshine nd rainbows, its very mean and nasty place nd i dnt care how tough you are..it will beat you to your knees nd keep you there permanently if you let it..you me nobody is going to hit as hard as life but it aint about how hard you hit,its about how hard you can get hit nd keep moving forward, how much you can take nd keep moving forward...thats how winning is done..now if you know what you are worth then go out nd get what you are worth but you gotta b willing to take the hits nd not pointing fingers saying you aint where you want to b bcoz of him her or anybody.
cowards do that nd it aint 'You', you are better then that----Rocky Balboa

Happy Maker Sankranti !
Happy Maker Sankranti !
From wiki -
The transition of the Sun from Dhanu rashi (Sagittarius) to Makara rashi (Capricorn)
Why Tilgul/Black Sarees in Maharashtra ?
"Til-gul ghya, god god bola" meaning ‘Accept these tilguls and speak sweet words’. The under-lying thought in the exchange of tilguls is to forget the past ill-feelings and hostilities and resolve to speak sweetly and remain friends.
This is a special day for the women in Maharashtra when married women are invited for a get-together called ‘Haldi-Kunku’ (literally meaning turmeric and vermillion) and given gifts such as utensil, clothes etc. Typically, women wear black sarees or black coloured outfits on this occasion. The significance of wearing black is that Sankranti comes at the peak of the winter season and black colour retains and absorbs heat, helping keep warm
Why kites in Gujarat - In the western Indian state of Gujarat, the celebrations are even bigger. People offer thousands of their colorful oblations to the Sun in the form of beautiful kites. The act stands as a metaphor for reaching to their beloved God, the one who represents the best.
